Dwayne Clayden is a bestselling author of crime thrillers and police procedurals. He has a 42-year career in service as a police officer, paramedic, firefighter, and more. Dwayne’s first novel, Crisis Point, was a finalist for the Crime Writers of Canada Arthur Ellis Awards and an Amazon Bestseller.

He has five bestselling books in the Brad Coulter series and a two-novel series, Speargrass.

Dwayne is an active member of the literary community and has been recognized for his devoted service, receiving medals and awards from various organizations such as the Exemplary Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada, the Exemplary Service Medal from the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, the Long Service Medal from the City of Calgary, and the Award of Excellence from the Alberta Paramedics Association. He is also actively involved in the literary community. He has served as a board member with the Crime Writers of Canada and the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society and leads the Calgary Crime Writers. He’s a popular speaker at writing groups and conferences.
